Entering our terms and conditions:
All orders that you place will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Copyright:
It is not permitted to publish or copy any part of www.info-favourit.co.uk. This includes text, images, designs and products without the explicit consent of Favourit. Legal action will be pursued in such cases.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use material e.g. poems, hymns which you provide for use in designs for your stationery and in particular you indemnify Favourit against any action brought against it for breach of third party copyright.
Prices:
Our invitations and favours are designed and produced to your theme and specification therefore prices will vary in accordance with the materials and designs agreed in each case. A full proposal will be submitted at consultation which outlines our quote for any order placed.
Variations:
Our products are handcrafted to the highest specification and any slight variations between items is assurance of our products individuality. Such variations are not deemed as faulty.
If product specifications from our suppliers change we will endevour to offer you an alternative of the same or better quality.
Proofs:
Proofs of stationery and/or bespoke favours will be sent to the customer before proceeding with the order. It is the customers responsibility to check the proof carefully. We accept no responsibility for incorrect wordings, colours shades and materials if proofs are not properly checked, where details provided to us are incorrect or where the client fails to advise amendments to proof.
We will not proceed with the order until the customer confirms that the proof is correct in writing or by email.
Once the proof has been confirmed as correct, any amendments will incur charges.
Amendments to Order:
If the customer requires amendments after confirming that the proof is correct and production of personalised details has begun, a charge will be incurred to incorporate materials and labour invested. If the error is ours, there will be no charge.
Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required to secure your order, with payment of the total balance upon dispatch.
Delay in payment at any stage will result in delay of your order.
Payment can be made by cash or cheque, made payable to Favourit.
Ordering with Favourit:
In most cases we will consult with you in order to ensure that we have met your needs as accurately as possible. However if you have seen exactly what you are looking for on our website and wish to place an order, we recommend that you post a request to us through our "Contact Favourit" page. Upon receipt of which we will reply to your query, confirm your requirements and proceed with your order upon your agreement.
Delivery:
Invitations
Due to the variations in our designs and our commitment to ensure individuality we do not carry stock other than base colours. The materials for our invitations are ordered upon agreement of the final colour scheme and design. In view of this we recommend that you allow 6 weeks from the time of placing your order to allow us time to complete your requirements to the highest possible standard.
Favours
Please allow 4-6 weeks for the delivery of favours, again these are ordered upon demand and are subject to availability. In cases where items are subject to backorder you will be notified immediately.
If your order is needed quicker than the specified times please let us know, we will do our best to accomodate wherever possible.
**Hand Delivery** of your order can be arranged in Guernsey at no additional charge. UK delivery will be made via courier; despatch times and prices will be quoted as and when required.
Cancellation:
In the event of any cancellation, Favourit has the right to retain the 50% deposit and if cancellation is received after work commences Favourit reserves the right to collect the final payment or costs already incurred.
Returns:
In the unlikely event of a complaint, the customer must notify us in writing within 14 days of receipt of the final order. Refunds or exchanges can only be considered where merchandise is found to be faulty or the specifications of the order have not been met.
Privacy:
In accordance with data protection laws, no personal information is collected or retained by Favourit for any other purpose than for the processing of orders, payments and queries at the clients request.
Health and Safety:
We produce all of our handmade products to the highest possible standard and have very constringent procedures to ensure that they are safe whilst retaining individuality. However it should be noted that we use various small parts and embellishments that are not suitable for children. Our products are for decorative purposes and should never be mistaken for toys.
Our products are edible only where it is expressly stated by us. Please note that some of the ingrediants used may contain traces of nuts and other higly sensitive ingrediants for allergy sufferers. Please be sure to check the ingrediants of any edible's you order and if in doubt please refer to us for clarification.
